Servicing our client families' needs is our top priority. Personal integrity, honest communication and education on the issues affecting retirees and their heirs are how we strive to differentiate our firm.
It is our mission to help you navigate this volatile economic environment and to assist in reaching your retirement goals with your assets and peace of mind intact.
Stephan has been in the financial services industry for over 26 years. He founded Brueckner Financial Strategies, Inc. (BFSI), in 2004 to focus solely on Wealth Preservation strategies for his private practice client family.
Prior to launching BFSI, Stephan was a financial advisor with Bay Financial Associates in Waltham, MA and an institutional fixed income bond broker with Bear Stearns in Boston, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies and business owners, assisting them with their corporate cash management.
As a Federal Benefits Specialist with Voluntary Employee Benefits Systems (VEBS), Stephan presents seminars on federal benefits and retirement planning to federal civil service employees (IRS, CBP, FNS, FDA). The focus is on educating employees to understand their pension options and government benefits in order to maximize and get the most out of them as they near retirement.
Stephan is a frequent guest speaker for various community organizations and Adult Ed Programs, where he educates boomers and retirees on how to protect and preserve the assets accumulated over a lifetime of work through his class; CYA: Conserve Your Assets!
Stephan lives in Madison, CT with his wife and children. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Madison Chapter of the Jaycees, helping to raise $100,000 annually for local schools, charities and families in need. Stephan is a Colby College alumnus.
He is a voracious reader, enjoys coaching basketball, weight training, being a weekend lumberjack and playing the electric guitar.
